AVID Dance Company is currently seeking NYC-based dancers for our 2025 performance season, with the possibility of extending into 2026. The confirmed season includes a summer and fall performance series in New York City, along with a performance tour to Colorado in August and September. Additional performances and tour opportunities may be added as the season progresses and funding is secured.

Commitment Dates (Required):

• June 9–27: NYC rehearsals and performances

• August 18–September 8: NYC rehearsals and Colorado performance tour

• September 10–October 12: NYC rehearsals and performances
  

We are seeking one to two dancers who are 5'10" and taller with strong classical technique and exceptional partnering skills. Additionally, we are looking for one to two dancers who are 5'3" or shorter with excellent pointe work. All dancers must be highly proficient in classical ballet and have experience in contemporary ballet and modern movement.

• Audition reel including classical and contemporary performance excerpts

• Headshot

• Resume

• 2–3 recent dance photos
  

Auditions will take place in New York City between May 8–20, 2025, and will consist of learning phrases from the company’s repertoire. Dancers may also be considered for a Zoom audition if travel to NYC is not feasible. All applicants will be notified of their status and next steps no later than April 28, 2025.
